Artist's Statement
My husband and I retired and recently moved to the foothills of North Carolina from the heart of the midwest. Our family and friends said ‘Why’ and our response was ‘Why Not’.
I have enjoyed painting ever since high school. It is one of those hobbies you always come back to. After many years and some amazing inspiration, I have taken up my brush once again.
My passion is to interpret in watercolors the majestic beauty of the mountains to the serenity of the ocean. I only hope that through my efforts others will be able to enjoy what I have seen and experienced.
